Release note

Mnemoloop 1.8 adds a flashcard manager

A Manage tab to browse, filter, edit, and delete cards in place, plus source-note tracking that marks linked flashcards stale when their note changes.

Manage your flashcards in one place

The new Manage tab browses the whole flashcard library without leaving Mnemoloop. From the list you can add a card, open an existing one to edit it, change a card's status or deck membership in place, and delete a card behind a confirmation step.

Each row shows the card's type, a content preview, its decks, and its status. Larger libraries stay workable: search by card file name or deck, filter by card type, status, or deck, and page through the results 25 at a time. Empty states explain what to do when a search matches nothing.

Track changes to source notes

Under Settings → Source note configuration, you can identify Markdown source notes by a directory, by comma-separated tags, or by both. The two are alternatives: a note that matches either one is tracked. Leave both fields empty to keep detection off.

When a tracked note changes, Mnemoloop marks every linked active flashcard as stale and reports how many cards were affected. Outdated recall prompts no longer survive a changed note quietly.

Feedback when something fails

Status and deck updates confirm when they are saved, and a deletion asks before it happens. If an update or a deletion cannot be completed, Mnemoloop restores the previous value or card and reports the failure instead of leaving the list out of step with the vault.

Smaller fixes

  • The management table and its mobile layout carry clearer labels for screen readers.
  • The delete flow uses an alert dialog rather than a browser prompt.
